We recently fielded a request looking for outdoor Yoga cases in LA…so we started digging. We found a surprising number of classes held in parks, gardens, rooftops and even at the ocean’s edge.

For any class, make sure you’re protected from the sun and bring your own gear. Sticky mats have a way of permanently collecting sand, so beware what you bring to classes on the beach, an old towel that collects sand can be a welcome companion and help your body mold to the ripples of the Earth. Practicing with your feet on the Earth, hair in the wind, feeling the rhythms of nature has an entirely different feel than being in a studio. Some people crave this experience, others want to go back inside. Try it out for yourself and tell us what you think. –– FMT
