Shakti Fest returns to Joshua Tree for five days of singing, yoga workshops and celebration.
The Sanskrit word Shakti refers to the creative energy of the divine feminine. An annual event since 2009, these five days in the desert bring together noted global yoga teachers, workshop leaders, and sacred musicians all with a focus on uplifting energy and creating community. Practice with Mark Whitwell, Saul David Raye, Shiva Rea, Sara Ivanhoe, and Mas Vidal. Sing with Jai Uttal, Donna De Lory, Larisa Stowe and Shakti Tribe, and Govindas and Radha. Study with Jeffrey Armstrong, Michael Brian Baker, Zat Baraka, Syamarani, Mirabai Devi, Zoe Kors, and Dr. Lorin Roche. Camp out under the stars, feast on vegetarian food, meet new friends, dance, sing, and celebrate.
