Good Nutrition is one of the most important steps for recovery after a race or training session. In LA YOGA’s MarchYogi Food feature, we asked some noted athletes and food experts to share their favorite smoothie and shake recipes. Blythe Metz shared her Chia Banana Breakfast Shake:

Ingredients:

1). 1 scoop Growing Naturals Vanilla Protein

2). 1 Tbsp organic chia seeds

3). 1 Banana, peeled

4). 1 Orange, peeled

5). 2 cups water

6). 1/2 cup ice

7). 1 Tbsp raw honey (optional)

Directions: Place all ingredients in blender. Blend until smooth and creamy. This is a quick and tasty protein, vitamin, mineral and enzyme rich breakfast.
