In charming Old Town Camarillo, located between Malibu and Santa Barbara, yoga practitioners can now find Sun Kissed Yoga, or SKY, as co-owner Andrea Jensen lovingly calls it. The beautiful studio boasts a clean, soothing palette and reclaimed wood at check-in, and warm, cocoon-like rich walls and floors in the expansive studio.
 
SKY is mindfully well-stocked with straps, blocks, blankets, or the writer’s favorite, generously-sized bolsters for restorative practices. An added bonus? SKY is situated across from the Saturday Farmers Market.
 

About Sun Kissed Yoga

Sun Kissed Yoga was a dream that quickly turned into reality. In late 2016, after a yoga class in LA, Andrea expressed her intuition to fellow entrepreneur and now SKY co-owner, Michael Tang. Studio plans began in January, and SKY opened its doors to an eager community six months later during the first weekend of June.
 
Both owners are dedicated yoga practitioners who envision sharing yoga and creating community. Teachers were patiently selected by Andrea for passion and dedication to their practice, teaching, and students.
 
Classes are offered early morning to early evening, perfect for Camarillo’s diversifying community. From Nine to Fivers and Stay-at-home-Mothers, to retirees and nearby students at California State University Channel Islands, there are classes to fit nearly everyone’s schedule.
 
The studio centers around Anusara and alignment-based practices including Vinyasa set to music, plus Stretch Classes, Friday Night Specials, and a Sunday Evening Restorative. Friday Night Specials include Sound Baths, Ashtanga, and Yoga for Surfers. Additional classes will be on the schedule come August, with a strong possibility of Prenatal for Camarillo’ growing young families.
