Why is MW running against HIM?

She could go ANYWHERE IN THE COUNTRY. There are many open seats, and many with reactionary or anemic representatives. Why run against one of the good guys? Why risk depriving LA of committee chairs and seats? Why make Waxman spend more money and energy than he has to?
