Art Flying Yoga owners and sisters Rubi and Yolanda Reyes are expanding their aerial offerings with their newly opened studio Art Flying Aerial in Lomita. The new studio, designed by Master Rigger Chobi, offers a variety of classes a day for adults and children ranging from Aerial Vinyasa to Aerial Silks, AFA Conditioning, Flying Family Fitness and Static Trapeze classes.

The Reyes sisters were originally inspired by their mother Yolanda who suffered from a back injury until her doctor recommended back and core exercises and introduced her to yoga. When Rubi herself who suffered an injury, a combination of yoga and aerial were instrumental in her own healing.

Yolanda easily communicates the passion and drive she and her children share, “Among the many benefits of aerial arts is the ability to be present, to become one with your body, mind and soul, to accept yourself and your body and embrace the beauty of it. Aerial arts is a body and mind transformation. Many of our students become more confident and develop a passion they didn’t even know they had in themselves.”

Art Flying Aerial Studio Los Angeles offers four to five classes per day including Aerial Arts, yoga, and more by well-trained, professional instructors; progressive teaching methods; a safe, noncompetitive, encouraging atmosphere; and a beautiful light-filled facility that boasts the highest ceilings of any aerial studio in Los Angeles.
