Meet The Team

Doug Corbett has had a long and varied career in the magazine business over the past thirty years with both national and regional titles. As one of the original partners and publisher of Healing Retreats & Spas magazine Doug experienced publishing in the mind, body, and spirit space and has never looked back. After the sale of Healing Retreats in 2001, Doug missed the creative aspects of publishing and dove headlong into the online space in 2003 with the website and e-commerce store Find Bliss based on the concepts he developed at Healing Retreats. He joined forces with Felicia Tomasko with the merger of Find Bliss and LA Yoga in 2011 to create the Bliss Network. An avid athlete throughout his life, when not working on magazines and website, Doug can be found hiking, biking, and golfing.

Felicia Tomasko has spent more of her life practicing Yoga and Ayurveda than not. She first became introduced to the teachings through the writings of the Transcendentalists, through meditation, and using asana to cross-train for her practice of cross-country running. Between beginning her commitment to Yoga and Ayurveda and today, she earned degrees in environmental biology and anthropology and nursing, and certifications in the practice and teaching of yoga, yoga therapy, and Ayurveda while working in fields including cognitive neuroscience and plant biochemistry. Her commitment to writing is at least as long as her commitment to yoga. Working on everything related to the written word from newspapers to magazines to websites to books, Felicia has been writing and editing professionally since college.

Tammy Petersen is a dynamic, seasoned communications professional with a proven ability to find crucial media and public relations opportunities and deliver results for her clients. With over two decades spent running her own public relations firm that focused on providing the ultimate in advertising, public relations and marketing programs to clients in the luxury hospitality industry, Tammy’s experience in the travel and wellness niche is unparalleled.

Assia Valova is one of many who have landed in Los Angeles to become part of the vibrant community of Yoga practitioners. She relocated to sunny Southern California from frigid Siberia in 2002, a journey which has expanded both her Yoga practice and her life experience. After arriving in on the Pacific Coast, Assia fell in love with the ocean. As often as possible, she meditates in the early morning on the beach.
