On the south side of Redondo Beach, The Hot Yoga Center opened in a new development. The spacious 3,000 square foot studio with 1,600 square feet of practice space is owned by brother and sister Roberto and Paola Borgonovo. The Hot Yoga Center offers a variety of classes, including different levels of their unique Novo Yoga, focusing on the core, as well as Hot 90, Hot 60, Power Yoga, and Yin Yoga. They are preparing to introduce Novo Sculpt, another class designed by the duo.
“We continue to pursue our philosophy of offering multiple practices to our students,” said the siblings. “The benefits of moving our bodies in many different ways are undisputed.”
Roberto and Paola offers a variety of introductory specials for new students; check the website for the options currently available. Beginners’ classes are offered with various lengths and intensities.
The Hot Yoga Center’s practice area is heated to 105 degrees year-round and the studio set-up features humidifiers and air purifiers to maintain cleanliness and appropriate humidity. The studio’s cutting-edge flooring is specially designed for hot yoga that doesn’t hold onto sweat yet provides a comfortable level of cushion for practicing. “We put a lot of effort in keeping our studio clean, functional and aesthetically pleasing,” explains Roberto and Paola. “See you in class!”
