Jyotish Forecast: Astrology April 2020
While we are in the midst of a global pandemic, the Astrology April 2020 provides information about prevalent energetic patterns. The Full Moon in Virgo offers us energetic support for recognizing the details necessary to manifest mystical dreams. April’s debilitated Mercury cautions us to be wary of being caught in the trap of negative projections or conspiracy theories. Keep your attention on the positivity of the Sun, which allow us to see the literal light at the end of the tunnel as well as the strength we need to persevere.
April 7
There will be a Full Moon in Virgo today. This is the midway point in the current Pisces cycle. The Full Moon in Virgo brings skill, details, and organization as a point of contrast to our current Piscean state. Our current state could be one of escapism, tuning out, or not facing reality—but also accompanied by a deeper mysticism. Now we will notice all the important facts, data, and details necessary to bring mystical dreams into concrete reality. This allows us to create Heaven on Earth, or at least come as close as we might.
This Full Moon is happening in Hasta Nakshatra, related to the hand. This is the hand of manifestation, that allows us to organize and arrange things correctly. But we may also have a lot of attachment to the fruits of our labors. Be careful of that.
April 7 – April 24
Mercury is debilitated during this time, so we may lose some of our discrimination. Be careful of a tendency to space out. Even more important, be careful of dark projections and even paranoia at this time. This debilitated Mercury is aspected by Saturn—which is the planet of stress, pressure, and difficulty. Of course, the world in which we are now living has a lot of difficulty. We’re trying to get through a global pandemic. So, we don’t need to compound it with ultra-negativity, conspiracy theories, and other unproductive projections.
April 13
The Sun enters Aries, where he is exalted. This is a great transit. The Sun here brings purification, confidence, and power. It also gives us the strength and courage to follow through on what we know is right. We can now face the truth and enthusiastically act upon it for the betterment of everyone. The Sun also shines on us and gives us the enthusiasm to persevere through difficulty, because we can see the light at the end of the tunnel.
April 22
We have the New Moon in Aries today, which begins a 30-day cycle where these Aries themes are front and center in everyone’s life. For the next 30 days not only will that exalted Sun create greater potential, we will feel empowered to put that potential into practice. This is a powerful ally for entrepreneurs, business people, and all of us who are putting into practice what we know is right, for the long haul. There is a lot of individuality and “following your light” now. But it may reveal separation or distance in our intimate relationships.
This New Moon takes place in Ashwini Nakshatra, related to the physicians of the gods. And boy, do we need physicians now! We could see some important medical breakthroughs at this time, with an unexpected discovery that helps us turn the corner.
April 25
A few days after the New Moon is this auspicious day called Akshaya Tritiya. This is the third day after the New Moon in Aries, when both the Sun and Moon are exalted. This is perhaps the most auspicious day of the year. It is a day for wealth, health, and all auspicious endeavors. This year it is also joined Venus in Taurus, a very powerful blessing, for healing connections and love.
