Jacqueline Radha Rosen reveals her skills as a singer-songwriter in her newly released debut EP Sun Child. This artist may be most well-known as Radha—teacher and co-owner of Bhakti Yoga Shala where she leads classes and co-leads kirtans with her husband (and co-owner) Govind Das. The duo have released four albums together: Lunar Mantras, Light Inside of You, Kirtan Live! at Bhakti Yoga Shala and Waves of Love.
About Sun Child
While Jacqueline definitely draws from her yoga practice as inspiration for the messages in Sun Child, the English lyrics and finely crafted pop sensibilities offer a danceable take on uplifting music. Jacqueline worked with Grammy winning writer/producer Jeff Trott for this six song collection, along with co-writers Kai Brown and Anthony Snape and a stellar group of back-up musicians, Jacqueline Radha has created songs that listeners can play on repeat to create the types of high vibes she shares in all of her artistry and teaching on and off the mat as well as in and out of the yoga studio.

The album opens with the title track “Sun Child” with lyrics that serve as encouragement for seekers on the yogic path such as “Heaven on Earth is a place where we can stay—and learn to fly. Where the sun goes down and the stars light up your dreams—open your mind,” and “Open your heart and see through the night.” This segues into “Shine” which is filled with catchy, sing-able instructions for living a yogic life from a place of love, heart wide open. Jacqueline sings with conviction that “Love is the only thing to choose” and we believe her.
Each song on this EP is a sincere affirmation from “I Love You” to “I am Beautiful” to “We Are One.” Jacqueline’s gorgeous voice powerfully delivers throughout—especially on the closing song “Freedom,” which feels like a fitting anthem for our modern times.

Felicia Tomasko has spent more of her life practicing Yoga and Ayurveda than not. She first became introduced to the teachings through the writings of the Transcendentalists, through meditation, and using asana to cross-train for her practice of cross-country running. Between beginning her commitment to Yoga and Ayurveda and today, she earned degrees in environmental biology and anthropology and nursing, and certifications in the practice and teaching of yoga, yoga therapy, and Ayurveda while working in fields including cognitive neuroscience and plant biochemistry. Her commitment to writing is at least as long as her commitment to yoga. Working on everything related to the written word from newspapers to magazines to websites to books, Felicia has been writing and editing professionally since college. In order to feel like a teenager again, Felicia has pulled out her running shoes for regular interval sessions throughout Southern California. Since the very first issue of LA YOGA, Felicia has been part of the team and the growth and development of the Bliss Network.
