Cycle {Beach} House introduces a high intensive indoor cycling studio to Santa Monica.
Not only is this indoor cycling studio premiering a new-to-E! reality TV show, Spun Out, in July, but it opened its second outpost in March. The Cycle {Beach} House brings to Santa Monica all that West Hollywood flagship fans have grown to love about the brand—a 45-minute calorie-torching high intensity interval training workout; pedaling to a pumping playlist in a dimly lit studio as an amped up instructor yells motivational sayings like, “Get what you want out of life. Breathe in that intention and exhale it out to the world.”
Cycle House Santa Monica is located across the road from Palisades Park and around the corner from Santa Monica Place. The industrial-looking 4,000-square-foot studio is decorated in its trademark black and green colors: there’s a 48-seat cycling room, dimmable LED lights, showers, a fitness boutique, free post-workout snacks like apples and bananas, and validated parking. The cycle-celebs from the Melrose location—including Chief Ride Officer Nichelle Hines; her instructor-brother, Aaron Hines; apparel director and instructor Nick Hounslow; as well as the founders and owners, Adam and Lara Gillman—are sometimes spotted on the Westside.
The first class is $18 with online registration (includes shoe rental and towels). Packages and gift certificates are available. For every class taken, the studio donates two meals to those in need. Don’t forget to bring your bottle and fill up on unlimited alkaline water. And, with the Pacific Ocean just steps away, it would be wise to also pack your beach gear.
