Wah! knows something about healing, and she masterfully shares that knowledge in these pages.
In her experience, healing relates to how we interact vibrationally with the world in which we live—with all of our senses, in all aspects of life.
Her own commitment to healing is in itself multi-faceted. Through music, yoga, teaching, concerts, and small-group interactions, she has observed, discussed, and participated in people’s healing. In the book, Wah! alludes to her own near-death experience, the subsequent four years of illnesses and injuries, and her increased sensitivities. A commitment to producing The Healing Concert (first shared in 2012) ensued. As she describes, “My work is focused on holding higher energies for myself and modeling that for others.” This is part of the key to healing—through everything we do—using all of our sensory experience.
Wah! masterfully shares what she knows in these pages, which are in and of themselves a vibrational transmission. Since Wah! discusses the importance of the invisible forces of magnetism in everything around us, she combines stunning photography with her evocative and thoughtful words to create a healing companion. “I want you to alter your space, change your mind, rearrange your heart, and expand your horizons.” This is her wish through these words and it manifests through this must-have new release.
Felicia Tomasko has spent more of her life practicing Yoga and Ayurveda than not. She first became introduced to the teachings through the writings of the Transcendentalists, through meditation, and using asana to cross-train for her practice of cross-country running. Between beginning her commitment to Yoga and Ayurveda and today, she earned degrees in environmental biology and anthropology and nursing, and certifications in the practice and teaching of yoga, yoga therapy, and Ayurveda while working in fields including cognitive neuroscience and plant biochemistry. Her commitment to writing is at least as long as her commitment to yoga. Working on everything related to the written word from newspapers to magazines to websites to books, Felicia has been writing and editing professionally since college. In order to feel like a teenager again, Felicia has pulled out her running shoes for regular interval sessions throughout Southern California. Since the very first issue of LA YOGA, Felicia has been part of the team and the growth and development of the Bliss Network.
