Hemp SaladHemp Picnic Recipes In Honor of Hemp History Week

Servings: 2-3 (double the recipe to serve four)

Salad Ingredients

1 head butter lettuce

1 large beet

2 tbsp hemp seeds

¼ cup feta cheese


3 radishes

1 tbsp hemp seeds

hemp seeds¼ cup organic grapeseed oil

Juice of 1 lemon

1 garlic clove

Pinch sea salt

Pinch black pepper


Boil 1 beet in medium saucepan for 45 minutes. Wash and tear butter lettuce and place in salad bowl.

In blender, mix together all dressing ingredients.

Dice the cooled boiled beet and add on top of the butter lettuce. Add feta cheese, dressing, two tablespoons of hemp seeds, and toss everything together. Serve immediately.
